Cuscino, a Shenango High School graduate and member of BC3’s golf team from 2007 to 2009, was a two-time National Junior College Athletic Association Division III All-Region XX selection who in 2008 shot a 161 in the national tournament in Chautauqua, N.Y., anz became BC3’s second NJCAA All-American in golf, following Matthew Heighes in 1996.

McConnell, a South Hills Catholic High School graduate, starred for a Pioneers’ men’s basketball squad that won a BC3-record 11 consecutive games in the 1978-79 season, and 10 in a row in 1979-80 – and the program’s first Skyline Athletic Conference championship.

Smith, a Butler Senior High School graduate, sparked the BC3 volleyball team to a combined 48-12 record in 2002-2003 and consecutive NJCAA Division III Region XX crowns. Smith became BC3’s second two-time NJCAA All-American in 2003, following cross-country runner Bob Wilson, who received the honors in 1970 and 1971.

BC3’s Pioneer Hall of Fame includes Thomas Beckett, men’s basketball and baseball coach, 2016; John Stuper, men’s basketball and baseball, 2016; Andrew Matonak, baseball, 2017; Missy (Haney) Schnur, volleyball, 2017; Wilson, 2017; Walter Fitzpatrick, contributor, 2017; Bryant Lewandowski, men’s basketball, 2018; Beckie Jo Higgins-Arey, softball, 2018; and Michael Franko, cross-country, baseball and men’s basketball, 2018.

BC3 will also honor Mackenzie Craig and Joel Stutz during the Pioneer Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Craig, a Karns City High School graduate and forward on the BC3 women’s basketball team, this month became BC3’s first two-sport All-American. Craig set BC3 women’s basketball records in career points with 1,277 and in rebounds with 966, and helped to lead the BC3 volleyball team to the 2018 NJCAA Division III Region XX title. She was named an All-American in volleyball in December.

Stutz, a Butler Senior High School graduate and guard on the Pioneers’ men’s basketball team, set the all-time BC3 record in career points with 1,366 in February.
